My name is Marcus Plant Man and I am a FOOD ADDICT! At age 37 I topped the scale at 444 pounds. I was over 400 pounds for 10 consecutive years, and I was over 215 pounds for over 15 consecutive years. In fact, as a grand total I have been over 350 pounds for over 20 years of my life. In other words, I have a lot of experience being obese, depressed, sick, tired and hopeless.

I used to think I was crazy. I used to think I was a loser. I used to think I was a failure. I used to think I was WEAK MINDED.

I did not think I could ever get to a normal weight again. Now, by the Grace of God, Mother Nature, The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars I was wrong. I currently weigh 232 pounds. I have lost 212 pounds from the highest weight of my life that was 444 pounds! In retrospect I was a FOOD ADDICT!

In hindsight, I was addicted to SALT. I was addicted to FAT. I was addicted to the CHEMICALS hidden in PROCESSESD FOODS. I was a hopeless, out of control, full blow FOOD ADDICT and I simply could not stop eating the foods that would eventually kill me.

I am so grateful that I eventually discovered the Whole Foods Plant Based Diet consisting of fruits, vegetables, greens, wholegrains, beans, peas, barley, corn, lentils, split peas and no salt spices. The biggest key to my success has been cutting out all added fats, all added salts, and all processed chemicals.

Now I spend my days eating giant 64oz RAW fruit smoothies made in my Vitamix blender. I drink 64oz RAW fruit and greens smoothies. I also eat wonderful delicious cooked dishes consisting of lots of tomatoes, vegetables, no salt spices and no salt combinations.

I have beaten the odds and pulled off a plant based miracle and have saved my life.
